How do I know if I have a valid data breach claim?

An organisation is required under GDPR to inform you if they have breached your personal data in any way, and typically the first you might hear about it would be an email from the company concerned. Despite this, you may not know about a data breach by a particular company until you hear that they have been fined by the Information Commissioner’s Office ICO.

I've suffered no financial losses as a result of the data breach, can I still make a claim?
